Resumo

The decision-making process in organizations can be aided by the adoption of new Information Technologies. Thus, Higher Education Institutions use Academic Information Systems to manage all the administrative tasks, including the registration of student grades. The lack of the registration of exam results within the deadlines set by internal regulations, implies in academic disruption to the student and financial loss to the institutions. It was observed that from 2014 to 2016 the lack of student grades registration increased in the Porto Velho campus at Federal University of Rondonia (UNIR). In this way, the goal of this work was to analyze which factors influence the acceptance and the use of the Integrated University Management System, Academic Module, by the professors of the campus of Porto Velho at UNIR. For this, in the methodology, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology was used for the formulation of a questionnaire, whose reliability was calculated by Cronbach's Alpha value, and it was computed the degree of agreement of the propositions and of each factor (constructs) from the theory: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. In order to identify the influence of the moderators (gender, age and experience), the Pearson correlation coefficient of these was computed with respect to the constructs. As a result, it was obtained that the respondents are indifferent to the intention to use and to use the system, which indicates that this is one of the factors of the increase of non-registration of grades.
